Recorded Pixels and Frame Rate of Movies

Choose the recorded pixels and frame rate (number of frames per
second) according to how you intend to use the movies you have taken.
The higher the number of recorded pixels, the clearer the details, but the
bigger the file size.
The more frames per second, the better the quality of the movie, but the
bigger the file size.
Choose the appropriate number of recorded pixels and frame rate in
[Movie] on the [A Rec. Mode] menu.

Suitable for viewing the movie on a computer.
(320×240)
File size is smaller, but total recording time is increased. Suitable for

(160×120)
posting on a website or attaching to e-mail.
The default setting is D (320×240).
Appropriate Frame Rate According to Use
Produces high quality movies, but reduces the total recording time.
30fps
Increases the total recording time because the file size is smaller.
15fps
The default setting is 30fps (frames per second).
