Click the [Apply] button.
Settings are applied, and a "Preset Positions" icon
is added to the video camera for which the ID
number was set.

If setting video camera preset positions, go to
"Setting Pan/Tilt Camera Preset Position" below.
Otherwise, click the [Close] button to finish with
settings.
Setting Pan/Tilt Camera Preset Position
The
(Preset Positions) icon is used to set preset
positions for a pan/tilt camera.
The administrator can set and name up to 20 preset
positions for a video camera. Users can then position
the video camera quickly and accurately by merely
recalling a preset position.
The following example describes connection of an
EVI-D100/D100P/D30/D31/G20/G21.

Click the "Preset Positions" icon on the page to set
the video camera ID numbers (see page 21).
The "Preset Positions" page appears in a new
window.

Observe the sample video camera image while
adjusting the camera position using the [PAN],
[TILT] and [ZOOM] control bars.
z Hint
• When [Kalatel] is selected as the pan and tilt
driver, the [FOCUS] and [IRIS] control buttons
appear.
• See "Pan/Tilt/Zoom Control" (page 31) for
details regarding the functions of the control bar
and control buttons.

Enter a name (up to 16 characters) for the preset
position in the [Current position] text box.
z Hint
When [Kalatel] is selected as the pan and tilt
driver, if you input the preset name as follows, you
can move the video camera to various preset
positions by clicking [HOME].
• When HSR-1/1P/2/2P is not connected
For Camera1: home1
For Camera2: home2
For Camera3: home3

• When HSR-1/1P/2/2P is connected

Note
You cannot assign the same preset name more than
once. Therefore, "home3" (and "home4") can be
assigned to a camera connected to the video
network station or to HSR-1/1P/2/2P, but not both.

Click the "Save" icon.
The name of the preset position is added to the
[Preset positions] drop-down list.

To delete an existing preset position, select the
name of the position in the [Preset positions] drop-
down list, and click the [Remove] button.

Click the [Close] button when finished with the
settings.
The "Preset Positions" page closes.
