  • Page 8 Front Panel CHANNEL CONTROLS HIGH EQ This High EQ shelving type of active tone control varies the treble frequency (±15 dB at 12 kHz) and is designed to remove noise or add brilliance to the signal, depend- ing on the quality of the source. MID EQ Mid EQ is a band pass (peak/notch) type of active tone control that varies the mid- range frequencies (±15 dB at 450 Hz).
  • Page 9 (balanced or unbalanced). An unbalanced to balanced impedance converter such as the Peavey 5116 or a Peavey 1:1 Interface Adapter may also be used to isolate a microphone from phantom voltage.
  • Page 10 Front Panel MASTER SECTION MUTE 1-8 Muting channels 1-8 is a great feature that allows you to take a break‚ by muting channels 1–8 without changing the mic level settings. Use channel 9/10 for your break music. Just remember, unmute before beginning your performance.
  • Page 11 Front Panel EFX TIME This control adjusts the time of the particular reverb or delay. EFX TO MONITOR This control adjusts the amount of effects signal sent to the monitor mix, allowing effects to be heard from the stage via the monitors. Keep this control as low as possible. EFX TO MAIN This control adjusts the amount of effects sent to the main front-of house mix.
