Maintenance and Care

The following intervals apply to normal operating conditions only. If your daily work-
ing time is longer or operating conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.),
shorten the specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Control handle
Air filter
Manual fuel pump (if fitted)
Pickup body in fuel tank
Fuel tank
Carburetor
Spark plug
Cooling inlets
1)
Valve clearance
1)
Combustion chamber
2)
Spark arresting screen
in muffler
All accessible screws and nuts (not adjust-
ing screws)
HT 100, HT 101, HT 130, HT 131
Visual inspection (condition, leaks)
Clean
Check operation
Clean
Replace
Check
1)
Have repaired by servicing dealer
1)
Have checked by servicing dealer
1)
Have replaced by servicing dealer
Clean
Check idle adjustment – chain must not
rotate
Adjust idle speed
Readjust electrode gap
Replace after every 100 operating hours
Visual inspection
Clean
Check and, if necessary, have adjusted
by dealer after first 139 hours of
operation
Decoke after first 139 hours of opera-
tion, then every 150 hours of operation
Check
Clean or replace
Retighten
