This instruction sheet covers ADC2000 and ADCWFI control boards only;
The following instructions apply to side-by-side products:
1)
Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2)
If applicable, remove knobs from the freezer and refrigerator control box located at the top of the
refrigeration compartment.
3)
Remove control escutcheon
4)
Remove (4) screws used to secure control box
5)
Locate and identify the ADC board (ADC2000 or ADCWFI) in rear right corner of
control box. The part number for the PCA (printed circuit assembly) + bracket is located on the side
of the relay on the top side of the board.
6)
Remove all connectors from the ADC board.
7)
Remove the (2) screws securing the ADC board and remove from control enclosure
8)
Remove the resistor as indicated in the following sections
9)
Reinstall all components and wiring harnesses
10)
Replace all parts and panels
11)
Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.
The following instructions apply to top freezer products:
1)
Disconnect power cord.
2)
Remove control cover from refrigerator compartment ceiling.
a. Remove (2) screws at front of control cover.
b. Lift rear side of the control cover to disengage locating features (hooks).
3)
Locate and identify the ADC board (ADC 2000 or ADCWFI) in the center of the
control box. The part number for the PCA (printed circuit assembly) + bracket is located on the side
of the relay on the top side of the board.
4)
Remove all connectors from the ADC board.
5)
Remove the (2) screws securing the ADC board and remove from control enclosure.
6)
Remove the resistor as indicated in the following sections.
7)
Reinstall all components and wiring harnesses
8)
Replace all parts and panels
9)
Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.
