panel backlight will not light.
• If rechargeable batteries are to be used, rechargeable batteries
manufactured by Panasonic are recommended.
• Operation is not guaranteed when used with manganese batteries.
Do not use manganese batteries.
Note
Changing the mode can sometimes cause the battery indicator to change.
