Using other equipment

Listening to an external source

Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select
EXT mode.
Each time you turn [INPUT SELECTOR]:
TUNER
On the remote control
Press [EXT].

Operate the unit.

Recording an external source

q q Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select EXT mode.
w w Select Dolby NR and reverse mode.
e e Press [* REC PAUSE].
r r Press [w ] or [ q] to start recording.
t t Start the source to be recorded.

To stop recording
Press [ g ] on the deck.
Recording CDs onto an external unit
Start recording on the external unit and start playing the CD to be
recorded.
See the unit's manual for details on operation and connection
( a page 8).
Using headphones (not included)

Reduce the volume before connection.
Avoid listening for prolonged periods of time to prevent hearing
damage.
