Handset settings
You can download sounds in .mid format
and pictures from a PC (page 51).
In My stuff you can listen to the existing
sounds and rename and delete sounds
that you have downloaded onto you hand-
set via SMS or data cable (max. 32 KB).

Rename (max. 16 characters) and press

Delete Entry
The selected entry is deleted.
Delete List
All list entries that can be deleted are
deleted.
A deleted ringtone is automatically
replaced. A deleted ringtone for VIP
calls or anniversaries is not automati-
cally replaced.
Checking the memory
You can view both the memory space
available and the proportion of memory
used by the screensavers, CLIP pictures
and sounds.

Activating/deactivating

advisory tones

Your handset uses 'advisory tones' to tell
you about different activities and statuses.
The following advisory tones can be acti-
vated and deactivated independently of
each other:
u
Key beep: Each key press is acknowl-
edged.
u
Acknowledge tones:
– Confirmation tone (ascending tone
sequence): at the end of an entry/
setting and when an SMS or a new
entry arrives in calls list
– Error beep (descending tone
sequence): when you make an
incorrect entry
– Menu end tone: when scrolling at
the end of a menu
u
Battery low beep: the battery pack
requires charging.
