Step recording
Step recording
refers to
the process
by
which
notes
and
rests
can
entered
into a
track
(using the
numeric keypad
or the
keyboard)
one
at a
time.
This
method
of
recording
is
suitable for
musical
parts
which must
be played back with
precise timing.
Step recording
also
makes
it
possible
to
record very
intricate
or
difficult
passages
that
would
be
impossible
to
play
in
realtime.

recording
to
record the bass
part
in
track
2.
Select the part
you
wish
to
record
We

to
move
the cursor

Play the
keyboard
to
check
the
sound.
