    ASRock HDMI 2-in-1 Router 1.3 Overview Description Function HDMI connec- This connector allows you to connect the H2R to a compat- ible HDMI-enabled display. LED indicator This LED shows the power-on status. Insert the micro USB cable into this port to connect your Micro USB port H2R dongle to a power source.

    Chapter 2 HDMI Dongle 2.1 Initial Setup Please follow below steps to setup your H2R dongle. 2.1.1 Connect your H2R Connect the micro USB cable to your H2R. Plug the other end into a power outlet using the 5V/1A power adapter, or into an open USB port on your TV, Monitor, or Projector.
  • Page 11 If the HDMI source is set correctly, you should see the ASRock EZCast setup screen as shown below. Wait a few seconds until the H2R gets ready and you will see the SSID and PSK (password) of your H2R dongle on the top of the screen.

    ASRock HDMI 2-in-1 Router 2.3 Setting 2.3.1 Adjust the output resolution Open the EZCast app on your smart device and tap Settings. The Setting screen appears on your display. Use your EZCast device as a remote controller and highlight to select Resolution on your display.

    2.3.2 Connect to the Internet If you want to connect your H2R dongle to the AP router for internet access, open the EZCast app and tap Settings. The Setting screen appears on your display. Use your EZCast device as a remote controller.

Tap YES to confirm. • EZCast (Default) : The H2R dongle is controlled by the EZCast app. You can use the functions in the EZCast app to mirror the screen of your smart device to the display. • EZMirror+Timer: If your device is a Miracast-compatible Android device, you can select EZMirror+Timer as the default mode.

    Tap up and down to toggle among options. Tap OK to save the setting. • Via Router Allowed: You will be able to discover H2R through home router if you have established the connection with the router. • Via Router Only: Your smart device can connect to your home router’s network only.

    Highlight Language and tap up and down to select the display language. Tap OK to save the setting. Device Name Highlight to select Device Name. Tap OK to rename your H2R dongle. The new name will take effect after reboot. Note: You can only name the device. The SSID cannot be changed.
