Installation, maintenance and repairs must only be carried out by a Miele authorised technician.  Never use a damaged steam oven. It could be dangerous. Check it for visible signs of damage before using it.

You could burn yourself on the heating elements, oven interior, cooked food, oven accessories or hot steam. Wear oven gloves when placing food in the oven or removing it and when adjusting oven shelves etc.

If it does ignite do not put the flames out with water. Switch the steam oven off immediately and then suffocate the flames by keeping the oven door closed.
