For selection of stereophonic or monophonic mode of
p l a y b a c k . I n n o r m a l o p e r a t i o n , s w i t c h s h o u l d b e i n

c h a n n e l s i g n a l s w i l l b e m i x e d , a n d s o u n d s c o m i n g f r o m
speakers of both channels will be the same.
NOTE:
Recording stereophonically with the MODE switch in the
MONO position may cause channel separation to deterio-
rate.
D U P L I C A T E S W I T C H
With switch in ON position, signals recorded on one of
two tape decks connected to the receiver may be recorded
onto the other, with or without editing. For normal
o p e r a t i o n , t h i s s w i t c h m u s t b e i n O F F ( u p p e r ) p o s i t i o n .
