For access, remove this FRU:
• "1010 Base cover" on page 33

Only use the battery specified in the parts list for your computer. Any other battery
could ignite or explode.

Unplug the battery connector

M2 × 3 mm, flat-head, nylok-coated (3)

Bty to Upper
Hold the battery and slide to the end of right side, then remove it.
When installing: Make sure that the battery connector is attached firmly.
