Personalized recognition: Enable to have your phone improve recognition based
on your speech. (This option is only available when you are signed in to a Google
Account.)

Bluetooth headset: Record audio through a Bluetooth headset, when using an
optional Bluetooth headset (not included), paired with your phone.

Text-To-Speech Options

Text-to-speech (TTS) provides audible readout of text, such as the contents of text messages.
1. Press
and tap
2. Tap Language and input, and then tap Text-to-speech options:
Preferred TTS engine: Select Samsung text-to-speech engine, or Google Text-
to-speech Engine. Tap
General:
Speech rate: Choose a rate for text readouts.
Listen to an example: Play an example of speech used for readouts.

Pointer Speed

Set the pointer speed for an externally connected mouse or trackpad (not included).
1. Press
and tap
2. Tap Language and input, and then tap Pointer speed to set the pointer speed. Tap
OK to save your selection.

Motions and Gestures

Configure various motion and gestures services.
1. Press
and tap
2. Tap Motions and gestures to configure features. Tap the ON/OFF switch to turn a
feature on, and then tap the feature to configure options:
Motion: Control your phone with natural movements, like putting the phone to your
ear to call a displayed contact.
Direct call: Lift the phone to your ear while viewing a contact to call the contact.
