Navigating Through the Apps Screens

Your phone initially has three Apps screens available. Follow
these steps to navigate through the Apps screens:
1. From a Home screen, touch
The first Apps screen displays.
2. Sweep the screen left or right to access the other two
screens.
3. Touch an app's icon to launch the app.
Note: As you add apps, the number of Application menus that
you have available will increase.
Navigating Using Sub-Menus
Sub-menus are available when you are at any Home screen
or have selected a feature or application such as Phone,
Contacts, Messaging, or Internet.
To access a sub-menu:

1. Touch
Menu
A sub-menu displays at the bottom of the phone
screen.
2. Touch an option.
Apps.

Smart Screen

With Smart screen activated your phone automatically
adjusts screen time out and rotation when it detects you are
looking at the screen.
Smart screen features include:
Smart stay: The screen does not time out as long as you are
looking at it.
Smart rotation: The screen rotates based on the orientation of
your face.
Smart screen uses the front camera to detect when you are
facing the screen. Some factors may affect the ability of the
front camera to detect your face:
When the phone is not docked or held upright. For example, when
placed on a table.
When the front camera cannot detect your face and eyes.
When the front camera is used for the current application.
When the light source is behind you or when using the phone in
the dark.
