Section 9: Settings

This section explains the settings used for customizing your
device. If settings are described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that description is
provided.

Accessing Settings

From a Home screen, touch
– or –
From a Home screen, touch
– or –
From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and
then touch
Settings.
The Settings screen displays.

Airplane Mode

Airplane mode allows you to use many of your device's
features, such as Camera, Games, and more, when you are
in an airplane or in any other area where making or receiving
calls or data is prohibited.
When your device is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or
receive any calls or access online information or
applications.
From a Home screen, touch
touch the OFF/ON button to turn Airplane mode
ON
. At the Turn on airplane mode prompt,
touch OK.
Tip: Press and hold the Power Key then touch
Airplane mode or, from a Home screen, touch the top of
the screen and swipe downward to display the
Notification Panel, and then touch Airplane mode.
