Using Zoom

To zoom in and make the subject larger in the
viewfinder, rotate the zoom ring to the left. To
zoom out and make the subject smaller, rotate
the zoom ring to the right. You can take a
picture up to 60 cm from the subject.
You can also take extremely close-up shots
within a range of 20 cm to 60 cm from the
subject by setting the camera in the macro
mode. To set the camera in the macro mode,
hold down the macro button
the main dial or sub dial until you see the
macro mark
in the control panel. Repeat the
procedure to switch off the macro mark and
return the camera to normal operation.
Using the Built-in Flash
When the flash warning

After raising the flash, the flash warning may continue to blink until the flash is fully charged. When
you take the picture, the flash will fire with an intensity adjusted automatically for the best exposure.

Use the flash within these ranges to prevent overexposure and underexposure of your pictures.
Rapidly firing the flash could cause it to overheat. Do not fire it more than 30 times in succession.
After prolonged use, allow the flash to cool for at least 10 minutes between shooting sessions. Before
using the flash, make sure that its face is clean.
