Symptom
Dark spots or noise appear
on the scanned documents.
Scanned image has moire
fringes such as stripe or a
wavy pattern noise.

Possible Cause
The scanning glass section is dirty.
It is caused by the printing pattern of
the document and the congeniality of
the scanning resolution.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Clean the scanning glass section
(See page 30).
Change the resolution, and try to scan
again.
