Opening Gmail
From the Home screen, tap

Tap an email message to open it.

To access other message folders, tap Inbox at the top of the
screen and tap a folder name (Outbox, Drafts, Sent, etc.)

Creating a Gmail Message
From the Gmail Inbox, tap

Enter the recipient's Email address in the To field.

Separate multiple recipient email addresses by a comma or
semicolon.
Press
and tap Add Cc/Bcc to add a carbon or blind copy.

Enter the subject of this message in the Subject field.

Tap the Compose Mail field and enter your message.

Viewing a Gmail Message
From the Gmail Inbox, tap a message to view it.

• Archive
: archives the selected message.
• Delete
: deletes the message.
• Labels
: allows you to attach labels to a message to help
identify the type of message.
• Mark Unread
: closes the message and marks it as unread.
To view additional messages:
• Newer: swipe your screen to the right to see newer messages.
• Older: swipe your screen to the left to see older messages.
Press
to select one of the following additional options:

• Mark important/not important: allows you to set the importance of
a message.
