• Lock/Unlock: locks or unlocks the currently selected
message bubble from being accidentally deleted.
• Copy to SIM: copies the currently selected message bubble
as a single text message within the SIM card.
• View message details: displays details for the currently
selected message bubble.
• Translate: Use S Translator to translate the message.

Deleting Messages

Deleting a single message
1. From the main Home screen, tap Messaging
2. Touch and hold a message, then tap Delete.
3. At the Delete prompt, tap DELETE to delete or CANCEL
to cancel.
Deleting message threads
1. From the main Home screen, tap Messaging
2. Press
➔ Delete.
3. Tap each thread you want to delete. A checkmark will
appear beside each thread you select.
4. Tap DONE.

5. At the Delete conversation prompt, tap DELETE to
delete or CANCEL to cancel.

Message Search

You can search through your messages by using the Message
Search feature.
1. From the main Home screen, tap Messaging
2. Tap
3. Use the on-screen keypad to enter a word or phrase to
search for, then tap
4. All messages that contain the search string you entered

Messaging Settings

To configure the settings for text messages, multimedia
messages, Voice mails, and Push messages.
1. From the main Home screen, tap Messaging

• Default messaging app: Set your default messaging app
