Only BRITA Maxtra water filtration
system cartridges may be used in
machines with a water filtration system.
The BRITA Maxtra cartridges may be
obtained from various retailers or directly
from your Bosch Service Center (please
find contact details on page 66).

Your machine can be operated with or
without a filter cartridge. Simply remove
the filter holder and filter cartridge from the
water tank if you don't want to use it.
When using a new filter cartridge in the
machine, please observe the following
procedure:
Preparing and inserting BRITA Maxtra
filter cartridge
Remove the filter cartridge from the

protective wrap.
Immerse the filter cartridge in cold tap

water and move it gently back and forth
to eliminate air bubbles (approx. 5 sec.).
Remove the filter holder in the water
►
tank and insert the filter cartridge in the
appropriate chamber of the filter holder,
until it makes an audible clicking sound.
