    1. Verwendung Das ELA - Kompaktsystem CPA 2000 ist speziell für den leistungssicheren und zuverlässigen Betrieb von Lautsprecher - Anlagen ausgelegt. Anwendungen sind insbesondere Ruf- und Durchsageanlagen mit und ohne Hintergrundmusik, Alarmierungsanlagen in Industriebetrieben, Büro- und Geschäftsräumen, Versammlungs- und Sportstätten, Schulen und Kirchen, Hotels, Krankenhäuser, Supermärkte, Fahrgast- schiffe und ähnliche Anwendungen.

    An den Eingang 1 (INPUT 1, 40 oder 41) kann eine Tonquelle mit einem Pegelbereich von 0.5 mV bis 1,3 V angeschlossen werden. Die Buchse (INPUT 1, 40) ist speziell für ein Mikrofon mit PTT - Taste (z. B. DYNACORD MT 101) ausgelegt, so daß beim Anstecken auch die Vorrangverbindung bereits fertig ist.

    Monitorausgang (unsymm.), zum Anschluß z. B. eines Kopfhörers (hochohmig) 6. Notstrombetrieb Bei Verwendung des Geräts CPA 2000 als Alarmierungsanlage ist es notwendig, eine zweite, unabhän- gige Energiequelle an das Gerät anzuschließen. Mit Hilfe des Notstromversorgungseinganges (DC INPUT, 56) ist es möglich, eine Notstromversorgung zu installieren. Wenn die Netzspannung ausfällt, erfolgt der Übergang auf Batteriespeisung automatisch und übergangslos.

  • Page 10: Vorrangmöglichkeiten/Einstellmöglichkeiten

    Die Leitungslänge für einfache Entfernung soll bei diesem Querschnitt nicht mehr als 7 m betragen (Spannungsabfall <1V). Achtung! Das Gerät CPA 2000 darf nur mit ungeerdeten Batterien oder mit Batterien mit geerdetem Minuspol verwendet werden. Ein Betrieb mit geerdetem Pluspol ist nicht zulässig.
  • Page 11 Die ELA - Kompaktanlage CPA 2000 ist intern auf den Betrieb mit bevorrechtigten Mikrofonen / Sprechstellen einstellbar. Die Umstellung der Prioritätsprogrammierung erfolgt auf der Printplatte 83107 mit Hilfe der Steckbrücken J 301 bis J 308 (Bild 4). Dazu ist das Gerät stromlos zu schalten und der Gehäusedeckel des Geräts zu demontieren.

    Bild 4 (Leiterplatte 83107) 8. Nachrüstmöglichkeiten Die ELA - Kompaktanlage CPA 2000 kann an die Erfordernisse flexibel angepaßt werden. Dazu sind verschiedene Nachrüstsätze erhältlich, welche in das Gerät eingebaut werden müssen. 8.1 Alarm, Gong, Vorgong (NRS 90212) Der Nachrüstsatz wird an den Steckplatz B305 / B306 auf der Platine 83107 gesteckt (Bild 4). Dazu ist das Gerät stromlos zu machen und der Gehäusedeckel zu demontieren.

Die Sprechstellen besitzen 5 Tasten für Lautsprecherzo- nen, so daß Rufe gezielt in diese Bereiche vorgenommen werden können (Da es sich bei der CPA 2000 um ein Einkanalgerät handelt, ist während einer Durchsage in den nicht angesprochenen Bereichen keine Hintergrundmusik zu hören).
  • Page 15 50 m 90 m Im Gerät CPA 2000 muß der Eingang 2 auf niedrige Empfindlichkeit (MIC / LINE, 45, gedrückt) eingestellt werden, der zugehörige Empfindlichkeitssteller (GAIN, 46) ist auf ca. Mitte einzustellen. An die Buchse Eingang 2 (INPUT 2, 44) darf dann kein Gerät angeschlossen werden. Der Vorrang muß entsprechend Abschnitt 7 eingestellt werden.

Mit den Zonentasten (1 - 5) können die einzelnen Lautsprecherzonen voreingestellt werden. Ein Tastendruck teilt eine entsprechende Zone zu, die zuge- hörige LED leuchtet auf.

    115 V AC, the mains fuse [60] has to be exchanged by an 6.25 Ampère slow-blow fuse. When turning the power of the CPA 2000 on, using the POWER [26] switch on the front panel, make sure that the master volume control (MASTER, [6]), the input controls (MIC 1 - MIC 3, [1] to [3]), and the line-level input control (VOLUME, [4]) are set to their “0"-position.

    The connector (INPUT 1, [40]) is specially meant for the connection of microphones with PTT button (e. g. the DYNACORD MT 101), providing you with the advantage of a single connection for the signal and the switching of the priority function. The pin-assignment of the XLR-socket (INPUT 1, [41]) is: 1=ground, 2=pos.

    The AUX [5] rotary switch on the front panel of the CPA 2000 lets you select one of the three inputs for reproduction. The output level is adjusted using the corresponding VOLUME [4] control while the TREBLE [13] and BASS [14] controls are used to shape the sound of the selected input source.

    6. Emergency power supply In case the CPA 2000 is operated as an alert system, it is necessary to have it connected to a separate, secondary power source. This power source has to be connected to the DC INPUT [56]. Whenever the mains supply is interrupted, gapless switching to the secondary source (battery) is performed automat- ically.

When shipped it is factory preset to cascade priority operation. Changing the priority programming is performed on the printed board assembly 83107 using the jumpers J 301 to J 308 (also refer to diagram 4).

There are several optional extension kits available providing additional functionality. 8.1 Alert, Gong, Pre-Gong (NRS 90212) This extension kit has to be installed in the insertion socket B305 / B306 on the printed board assembly 83107 (also refer to diagram 4).

Pressing one of the ZONE buttons (1 to 5) delegates the signal to the desired loudspeaker zone.

    Si vous désirez monter votre CPA 2000 dans un rack 19 pouces, il faut l’équiper d’oreilles de fixation. Il faut toujours veiller, dans ce cas, à ce que la ventilation du rack soit suffisante : le CPA 2000 dégage en effet pas mal de calories, ce qui a pour conséquence d’augmenter la température de son environnement.
