Push down the green lock lever and take
the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.
IMPORTANT
• Handle the toner cartridge carefully. If
toner scatters on your hands or clothes,
immediately wipe or wash it off with cold
water.
• To avoid print quality problems, DO NOT
touch the shaded parts shown in the
illustrations.

<Drum unit>
• We recommend that you place the toner
cartridge on a clean, flat, level, stable
surface with disposable paper or cloth
underneath it in case you accidentally spill
or scatter toner.

Turn the drum unit as shown in the
illustration. Make sure the drum unit
gear (1) is on the left side.
