4-3. 2-Pole Magnet Adjustment
(1) Make Green raster using lens cover.
(2) Check the center position of DOT pattern on the center of
the screen after turning Green focus volume left.
(3) Turning green focus volume right and adjust 2-Pole
magnet so the position to coincide that of item "(2)".
(4) Ajust not to shift the screen by turning green focus volume
left & right.
(5) If the screen shifts, readjust (2)~(4).
(6) Do the same method in Red and Blue. Here, be careful not
to be stained.
4-4. Beam Shape(4 & 6-Pole Magnet) Adjustment
(1) Do after 2-Pole magnet adjustment.
(2) Make Green raster using lens cover and turn the focus
volume right.
(3) Make the dot in the center a perfect circle using 4 & 6-Pole
magnet.
(4) Do the same method in Red & Blue.
(5) Fasten the Magnet after adjustment.
(6) Adjust focus accurately.

5. Centering Magnet Adjustment

5-1. Preliminary steps
(1) Select INSTART key on the Remote Control and then
select "3. RASTER Adj" with key No. 3.
(2) After then, do adjustment in RASTER PATTERN.
5-2. Adjustment
(1) Make Green raster using lens cover and turning Green
Centering Magnet coincide horizontal/vertical center lines
of center at screen JIG.

(2) Make Blue raster using lens cover and coincide the center
of Blue raster to "A" with turning the Blue centering
magnet.
(3) Make Red raster using lens cover and coincide the center
of Red raster to "B" with turning the Red centering magnet.
(4) After finishing adjustment, press the INSTART key exit
adjustment mode.

39", 44" coincide the right small vertical line of blue to "A", and
coincide the left small vertical line of red to "B" with turning the
centering magnet.
6. High Voltage Regulation Adjustment
6-1. Test Equipment
Digital Multi-Meter(DMM)
6-2. Preliminary steps
Select INSTART key on the Remote Control and then select
"1. HIGH VOLTAGE Adj" with key No. 1.
(Manual adjustment : setting contrast/bright to 20(A/V no
signal
6-3. Adjustment
(1) Connect DMM to the P416(P416A(+), P416B(-)) of
Deflection Board.
(2) Adjust VR401 so that the P416(P416A(+), P416B(-))
voltage is 21.5!0.1V. (High voltage 31.5KV)
7. CUT-OFF Voltage Adjustment
7-1. Preliminary steps
(1) Select external input 1 press TV/AV key on the Remote
Control.
(2) Oscilloscope, 100:1 Probe
7-2. Adjustment
(1) Connect oscilloscope probe(+) to R916R, GND to HEAT
SINK of R Board. (as same method of R/G/B)
(2) Turning volume R/G/B is 168V!0.5V.
