To remove the palmrest:
a. Release the latch and disconnect the power button, finger print reader, touchpad, and LED cables
from the connectors on the system board [1, 2].
b. Remove the screws that secure the palmrest to the computer [3].
c. Using a plastic scribe, release the palmrest from the edges and remove it from the computer [4].

Installing the palmrest

1.
Place the palmrest on the computer and press along all the sides until it clicks in place.
2.
Connect the power button, finger print reader, touchpad, and LED cables to the connectors on the
system board.
3.
Flip the computer and tighten the screws to secure the palmrest to the computer.

Install the:

b.
hard drive assembly
c.
base cover
d.
battery
