Turning the System On
Displaying Power-up information is typically displayed on the system's
Power-Up console terminal. The console terminal may be either a graphics
Information terminal or a serial terminal connected through the COM1
serial port. The setting of the console environment variable
determines where the system will display power-up output. Set
this environment variable to ''graphics'' for a graphics terminal
or to ''serial'' for a serial terminal.
