  • Page 6 Section 1. Installation IM P O R TAN T! This appliance m ust be left to stand in an upright position for at least 4 hours before being switched on for the first tim e. Rem ove all packaging and securing tape from the appliance. W ash the interior of the appliance with luke warm water containing a sm all am ount of bicarbonate soda (5ml to 0.5 litres of water).

Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Children m ust never play in or around the appliance. If using an adaptor, this m ust be used in accordance with the m anufacturers instructions and ensure that the electrical circuit is not overloaded as this could cause overheating.

  • Page 9 4.2. E xternal C leaning W ash the outer cabinet with warm soapy water. Do NO T use abrasive products. There m ay be sharp edges on the unde rside of the product, so care should be taken when cleaning. Once or twice a year dust the rear of the appliance and the com pressor at the back of the appliance, with a brush or vacuum cleaner, as an accum ulation of dust will affect the perform ance of th e appliance and cause increased energy consum ption.
  • Page 10 4.6. R eversing the D oor The door opening can be reversed from “right hand hinged” (as supplied) to “left hand hinged” if required. W arning! W hen reversing the door, the appliance m ust not be connected to the m ains.
  • Page 11 Step 6: Refit the hinge plate to the opposite side of the cabinet and secure with three screws. Refit the level adjuster and foot. Step 5: Unscrew the bottom hinge nut and remove hinge pin from the hinge plate. Turn the hinge plate over and refit the hinge pin and secure with nut.

In-guarantee custom ers should ensure that the above checks have been m ade as the engineer will m ake a charge if the fault is not the result of a m echanical or electrical breakdown.
