Selecting Vertical Snap Setting
The "Vertical Snap" function enables you to take pictures and perform
the operations with the camera held vertically, as if it was a cellphone.
To use this function, first set "Vertical Snap" setting here.
Use the four-way controller (23)

to select [On] or [Cancel].
Press the 4 button.

This confirms the Vertical
Snap setting and completes
Initial Setting. The camera
returns to capture status.
Formatting an SD Memory Card
Use this camera to format (initialize) an SD Memory Card that is
unused or has been used on another camera or digital device.
Be aware that formatting will delete all the data stored in
the SD Memory Card.
