    gob27 goc11 ocb1 PROPELLER SELECTION For best all around performance from your outboard/boat combination, select a propeller that allows the engine to operate in the upper half of the recommended full throttle RPM range with the boat normally loaded (refer to Specifications). This RPM range allows for better acceleration while maintaining maximum boat speed.

Your boat may be equipped with one of the Mercury Precision or Quicksilver gog70dc-62 remote controls shown. This steering torque results from the outboard being trimmed so that the propeller shaft is not parallel to the water surface.

The electrical wiring circuits on the outboard are protected from overload by fuses. If a fuse is blown, try to locate and correct the cause of the overload.

    Tilt outboard to the full up position and engage the tilt support lock. Remove fill cap and check fluid level. The fluid level should be even with the bottom of the fill hole. Add Quicksilver or Mercury Precision Lubricants Power Trim & Steering Fluid. If not available, use automotive (ATF) automatic transmission fluid.
