Doors and Locks
Locking, unlocking with door-lock
switch
All doors and the liftgate lock
automatically when LOCK is pressed.
They all unlock when the unmarked part
of the door-lock switch is pressed.
Locking, unlocking with transmitter
All doors and the liftgate can be locked/
unlocked by operating the keyless entry
system transmitter, refer to Keyless Entry
System (page 3-3).
qSliding Door Open/Close
WARNING
Do not leave a sliding door open while
parked on an incline:
Leaving a sliding door open is
dangerous. The door may open
unexpectedly resulting in injury.

NOTE
When you leave the vehicle, stop the engine
and lock the doors. And do not put valuables
in your vehicle to prevent theft.
CAUTION
When opening/closing a sliding door,
follow the cautions below. If the
cautions are not heeded, hands, feet,
or even a head may be caught in a
door resulting in an injury.
Ø Use the door handle.
Ø Keep your hands, feet, and head
away from the sliding door
openings.
Ø Make sure that there is nothing
behind the sliding doors.
Ø Keep your hands and feet away
from the sliding door rails, arms
and pillars.
