Notes:
• Use disc: GGV1025
• BER:Block Error Rate
START
• Play the DVD test disc
at inner track
• Display BER on the monitor

Turn the POWER OFF in
case of NG once, and
perform the adjustment
once again.
If error rate is OK,
locks a root of
tangential and radial
adjustment screws with
the Screw tight.

Disc playback normally.

Adjust the radial adjustment
screw so that
BER becomes under "5E-5".

Confirm that the error rate is
under "5E-5".

• Play the DVD test disc
at inner track
(around #30000)
• Unfasten the radial adjustment screw
by 90 degrees step till BER becomes
over "1E-3" again .
• Record the number of rotation (N1).
• Fasten the radial adjustment screw
till the number of rotation becomes
harf of N1.

• Play the DVD test disc
Monitor
at outer track
(around #200000)
• Unfasten the tangential screw
by 90 degrees step till BER becomes
over "1E-3" again .
• Record the number of rotation (N1).
ESC
• Fasten the tangential adjustment screw
till the number of rotation becomes
harf of N1.
