Terminology used in this Reference Manual
Illustrations used in this Reference Manual
The following terminology is used in this Reference Manual particularly when notes are
not used.
Circular media such as CD-ROM and DVD-ROM are described as "discs".
(With the Setup Utility, CD-ROM and DVD-ROM are described as "CD").
In the case of a model with a DVD-ROM drive, a model with a CD-R/RW drive or a
model with a DVD-ROM & CD-R/RW drive, change "CD-ROM drive" to read "DVD-
ROM drive", "CD-R/RW drive" or "DVD-ROM drive & CD-R/RW drive", respectively.
NOTE: NOTE provides a useful fact or helpful information.
CAUTION: CAUTION indicates a condition that may result in minor or moder-
ate injury.
WARNING: WARNING indicates a hazard that may result in moderate or seri-
ous injury.
