Units of measurement
To set the appropriate units of measurement
km or mls for the distance recorder and 6 or7
for the outside temperature, see page 76.
The setting is saved for the remote control cur-
rently in use.
Time, date, outside temperature
display
The outside temperature and time of day are
displayed from radio readiness.

Calling up date
Press the button on the flashing turn indicator
lever up; the date is displayed.

The display changes between clock and out-
side temperature display, date and Check Con-
trol messages by pressing the button up or
down repeatedly, see page 73.
Outside temperature warning
Once the display shows a temperature of below
+36/377, a signal sounds and a warning light
lights up. A message appears on the control
display. There is an increased risk of ice.
Ice can still form even at temperatures
above +36/377. You should therefore
drive carefully over bridges and shaded roads;
otherwise there is an increased risk of acci-
dent.<
Odometer and trip distance recorder
Resetting trip distance recorder:
With the ignition switched on, press button 1 in
the instrument cluster.
When car is parked
To display the time, outside temperature and
distance reading briefly after the remote control
has been removed from the ignition lock:
Press button 1 in the instrument cluster.
