    POWER ON/STANDBY 1. In standby mode, press the POWER/STANDBY button once to turn on the unit. 2. Press and hold button for about 2 seconds to return the unit to standby mode. CLOCK SETTING 1. In standby mode, press and hold the CLOCK button, the LED DISPLAY will flash to prompt for input.

    HINTS FOR BEST RECEPTION: AM - The AM antenna is located inside the cabinet of the unit. If AM reception is weak, change the position of unit until the internal antenna picks up the strongest signal. FM - To insure maximum FM tuner reception, unwrap and fully extend the EXTERNAL FM WIRE ANTENNA for best FM radio reception.

    NAP FUNCTION This function wakes you up after a short period of time. Only the beeper alarm sound can be selected. 1. In standby mode, tap the NAP button repeatedly to select 120, 90, 60, 30, 15, 10 or 5 minutes for your nap, wait 5 seconds for the unit to confirm your selection.
