■ Text messages

Write and send

1. At the standby mode screen,
select
Menu
>
messages
>
Create
To go quickly to the
message
display, press the Scroll
left key from the standby mode
screen.
2. Compose or reply to a message
using the keypad, and select
Send.
For other options while
composing the message, select
Options
and one of the following:
Preview
— Preview the message
when sending a picture message.
Sending options
options Urgent, Delivery reports
and Signature.
Clear text
— Erase the text from
the message editor.
Insert picture
— Insert a picture
from a Templates folder into your
message.
Change picture
picture in a picture message.
Delete picture
picture in a picture message.
Insert contact
from your contacts list into your
message.

in the contacts list.
Save message
— Select
text msgs.
to save the message in

Saved text msgs.
Template
to save the message as
one of your predefined templates
in the
Template
folder. If you
have defined any folders under
My folders, they also appear in
the list and you can save the
message to one of them.
Exit editor
— Exits the message
editor.
Use template
— Insert a predefined
template into your message.
Insert smiley
— Insert a smiley
into your message.
Writing language
language you want to use.
Dictionary
— Turn predictive text
on or off.
Insert word
— Enter a word and
insert it into your message. This
option is available if predictive
text is on.
Insert symbol
— Insert a special
character into your message. This
option is available if predictive
text is on.
Matches
— View matches found
in the dictionary for the word you
want to use.
Saved
folder; select
— Choose the
