Using Phone Number Prefixes

Tip: Try naming
the prefix by
area, like
Downtown ,
Suburbs , or
Germany .

You can save time when you dial by storing the
prefixes that you often use. This is sometimes
called "postscripting." Your satellite phone allows
you to change or add to phone book entries without
overwriting them.
Store a prefix in your phone book just as you would
any other number. See "Storing Names and
Numbers" on page 80.
Use a Stored Prefix
To use a stored prefix:
1. Recall the prefix from your phone book.
(See "Locating Entries" on page 87.)
2. Add the remaining numbers.
