set the time and date

To set your phone's time and date:
1 Press . Scroll to and select Settings.
2 Select Initial Setup.
3 Time and Date is highlighted. Press
SELECT.
4 Scroll to the date or time and press
CHANGE, then enter the new date or
time and press OK.
To set your phone's alarm clock:
1 Press , scroll to Office Tools and select
Alarm Clock.
2 Scroll to New Alarm clock and press
Select. Enter the details of your alarm and
then press OK.
3 Use the scroll keys to enter alarm details:
4 Press OK to confirm.

Note: You can set up to 5 separate alarms.

Your V545 has a built-in calendar so
you can keep track of important meetings
you need to attend. You can save up to
20 appointments.
To add an appointment:
1 Press . Scroll to and select Office
Tools.
2 Select Calendar and highlight the day of
the event.
2 Press the navigation key, then press
and select New.
3 Enter the event details and then
press OK.
To check your calendar settings:
1 Press while you are in
your calendar.
2 Scroll to Setup and press SELECT.
Choose from:
Default: allows you to view you
calendar by week or month.
Daily begin: allows you to set the
time your calendar notes begin.
Delete after: allows you to the time
for deletion of events.
Reminder: allows you to choose
between Always of Delayed if off.

Your V545 has a built-in calculator.
To use the calculator:
1 Press . Scroll to and select Office
Tools.
2 Select Calculator.
3 Use the number keys to enter numbers,
the arrow keys to scroll to the calculation
type you want and the press Equals for
your answer.
To use the currency converter:
1 Press . Scroll to and select Office
Tools, then Calculator.
2 Press and select Exchange Rate.
3 Enter the exchange rate of the currency
you want to convert and press OK
