– "Main FW (CD)" takes about 20 seconds.
– "CDRW FW (CD)" takes about 40 seconds.
– "All FW (CD)" takes about 55 seconds.
11. When finishing the upgrade, "Complete" is displayed
and this equipment is rebooted.
12. Confirm that the firmware version has been changed
from old to new.
13. If the firmware versions stay old, retry above updating
procedures.
I FORMATTING THE HDD
1. After installing a new HDD, be sure to execute
f o r m a t t i n g a c c o r d i n g t o t h e f o l l o w i n g
procedure.
a. Turn on the power, and "Format Start?" is displayed.
b. Press the " " key, and "Format Really" is
displayed.
c. Press the " " key, and "Push PLAY KEY" is
displayed.
d. Press the " " key, and "Wait" flashes. After some
time, formatting is executed. It takes about 15 seconds
before formatting is completed.
e. When formatting is completed, "Format OK" is
displayed, followed by the same message as after
turning on the power.
f. Turn off the power.
2. After installing an HDD which has been used
for another CDR-HD1500, execute formatting
according to the following procedure.
a. Turn on the power.
b. Press the "HDD" key to select HDD and then press the
"MENU" key.
c. Turn the "MULTI JOG" knob to select "HDD Utility" and
then press the "MULTI JOG" knob.
d. Turn the "MULTI JOG" knob to select "HDD Format"
and then press the "MULTI JOG" knob. Then "Initialize
?" is displayed.
e. Press the " " key, and "Format Really" is
displayed.
f. Press the INPUT key, and "Wait" flashes. After some
time, formatting is executed. It takes about 15 seconds
before formatting is completed.
g. When formatting is completed, "Format OK" is
displayed, followed by the same message as after
turning on the power.
h. Turn off the power.
・ 「Main FW(CD)」 は、約20秒かかります。
・ 「CDRW FW(CD)」 は、約40秒かかります。
・ 「All FW(CD)」 は、約55秒かかります。
11. アップグレードが終了すると、 「Complete」 と表示され
て、本機はリブートします。
12. ファームウエアのバージョンが、旧バージョンから新
バージョンに変わったことを確認します。
13. ファームウエアのバージョンが旧バージョンのままで
あったら、上記の更新手順を再度実行します。
I HDDのフォーマット
1. 新品のHDD を取り付けた場合は、以下の手順で
フォーマットします。
a. 電源を入れると、 「Format Start?」 と表示されます。
b." " キーを押すと、 「Format Really」 と表示され
ます。
c." " キーを押すと、 「Push PLAY KEY」 と表示さ
れます。
d." " キーを押すと、 「Wait」 が点滅し、しばらくす
るとフォーマットが始まります。フォーマットが完了す
るまで約15 秒かかります。
e. フォーマットが完了すると 「Format OK」 と表示され、そ
の後電源を入れたときの表示になります。
f. 電源を切ります。
2. 他のCDR-HD1500で使用していたHDD を取り付
けた場合は、以下の手順でフォーマットします。
a. 電源を入れます。
b." H D D " キ ー を 押 し て ハ ー ド デ ィ ス ク を 選 択 し 、
"MENU" キーを押します。
c."MULTI JOG" つまみを回して 「HDD Utility」 を選択し、
"MULTI JOG" つまみを押します。
d."MULTI JOG" つまみを回して 「HDD Format」 を選択
し、 "MULTI JOG" つまみを押すと 「Initialize ?」 と表示さ
れます。
e." " キーを押すと 「Format Really」 と表示されま
す。
f. "INPUT" キーを押すと、 「Wait」 が点滅し、しばらくす
るとフォーマットが始まります。フォーマットが完了す
るまで約15 秒かかります。
g. フォーマットが完了すると 「Format OK」 と表示され、そ
の後電源を入れたときの表示になります。
