x HDMI TC OUTPUT
You can set whether to output time code to
other professional-use devices, using
HDMI.
B OFF
Does not overlap the time code
information on HDMI output signal.
ON
Overlaps the time code information on
HDMI output signal*. The data is
transmitted as digital data, not as a
projected image, and the connected device
identifies the time data by referencing the
transmitted digital data.
* If the frame rate is 24p, 2-3 pulldown is
performed and the converted information is
automatically added and transmitted.
x HDMI REC CONTROL
When the camcorder is connected to an
external recorder, you can set whether the
external recorder automatically starts/stops
recording based on the camcorder's
operations.
B OFF
Does not record to an external recorder
automatically based on the camcorder's
operations.
ON
Records to an external recorder
automatically based on the camcorder's
operations.

(AUDIO SET) with the V/v/B/b/SET
button.
VOLUME
You can adjust the volume.

• You can assign this function to an ASSIGN

AVCHD AUDIO FORMAT
You can set the audio format for AVCHD
recording.
B LINEAR PCM (
Records in LPCM format.
DOLBY DIGITAL (
Records in Dolby Digital format.

• The above setting can be switched only when
the recording format is AVCHD.
AUDIO LIMIT
Sets the sound distortion prevention
function for CH-1/CH-2.
B OFF
Disables the sound distortion prevention
function.
ON
Activates the sound distortion prevention
function.

CH-2) switch is set to "MAN."
