The following information applies to all Monster Power
HTS800, AV700, HT700, and HTS700; PowerProtect
1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000.
Please read and observe the following safety points at all times.
WARNING–Power Sources
Do not plug any Monster Power component into a power outlet that differs in voltage
from the source indicated for safe use on the Monster Power component and/or power supply.
If you don't know the type of electrical power that is supplied to your home, please consult your local power company.
WARNING–Grounding and Polarization
A. If your Monster Power or Entech component has a three-wire grounding-type AC plug (a three-
prong plug), please read the following safety message: This plug is designed to be inserted into
a grounding-type outlet only. If this plug doesn't fit directly inside your outlet, do not attempt to force it
into the outlet. Never attempt to dismantle the plug in any way (or to alter an extension cord) to make it fit
into a two-prong outlet. Do not attempt to defeat the grounding feature by using a 3-to-2 prong adapter.
Instead, call a local electrician to install a properly grounded outlet.
