These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future reference.
Before use please Inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of damage. If the product
is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier immediately.
1. Place the fan on a clean, level surface out of the reach of children.
2. Make sure the power switch (A) on the side of the base unit is in the off (o) position.
3. Connect the USB plug (D) to a spare USB port on your computer. Connect the other end of the power
lead (C) to the DC input (B) on the back of the base unit. If you want to power the desk fan via a
USB adaptor please ensure the adaptor has a minimum output of 1A.
4. Alternatively the fan can be powered by 4 x AA batteries. The battery compartment is located on the
top of the base unit. Release the battery cover by pushing the tab down (E). Insert the batteries into
the battery compartment, making sure to observe the correct polarity. Replace the battery cover.
5. Move the power switch on the side of the fan to either position 1 (low speed) or position 2 (high speed).
6. The body of the fan can be moved forwards or backwards on the base to achieve the optimal angle.

• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• The appliance must be placed on a firm flat surface.
• Do not cover when in use.
• Do not attempt to open the unit, there are no user serviceable parts inside.
• Do not use water to clean the unit. Cleaning should be carried out with a clean, dry brush or cloth.
• Do not insert any object between the grilles into the fan blades.
• Do not use the fan in excessively hot or humid environments.
1. Ensure that the unit is disconnected from the USB power source and the power switch (A) is in the off
(o) position.
2. The fan should be cleaned gently with a clean, dry brush or cloth. Do not use water to clean the
fan.
