Setting the prefocus lever also sets the self{imer.
Unless you take the shot soon after pressing the shut-
ter button in step 2, the shutter will be released auto-
matically at the end of about ten seconds by the self-
timer.
lf you want to cancel prefocus after you've pressed
the shutter button, follow these steps:
1. Push the lens shield opening switch down @ and
