1. Spark plug gap settoo close
1. Fouled spark plug 1.
2. Dirty air cleaner 2.
1. Cutting blades loose or unbalanced 1.
2. Damaged, dull, or bent cutting blade 2.
1. Deck not leveled properly. 1.
2. Dull blade. 2.
3. Uneven tire pressure. 3.
1. Fill engine with proper amount and type of oil.
2. Clean grass clippings and debris from around the
engine's cooling fins and blower housing.
1. Remove spark plug and adjust gap.
Replace spark plug and adjust gap.
Clean or replace air cleaner element and/or clean
pre-cleaner.
Tighten blade and spindle. Balance blade.
Replace blade.
Perform side-to-side deck adjustment.
Sharpen or replace blade.
Check tire pressure in all four tires.
