TRACKING ALIGNMENT

dB, the
frequency
set
to

MHz
under
the test
equipment's
dial set
at
90
MHz.

Connect
the V.T.V.M. and
oscilloscope
to
the TAPE REC
terminals.

Observing
the

tpu
t
level
on
the
V.T.V.M. and adjust
the
following
cores
to
get
maximum reading
on the
meter.

(a)
Connect
the output
leads
of
FM
signal
generator
to
the FM
antenna
terminals.
(b)
Connect
the
vertical
input
leads of
oscilloscope
to
the
TAPE
REC terminals.
(c) Set the output level of FM
signal
generator
to
16 dB
and
turn
the muting
switch
or, then
check
the
muting
function
on the
scope.
The
muting
function
is
designed
to
the
function
at
about 16 dB
input.
