To c onnect a n a ftermarket c amera ( not o riginal), y ou h ave t o c onnect t o t he i nterface m ultimedia " R-­‐CAM" p ort, t he
"CAM" c onnector t hat h as 2 c ables, a r ed o ne a nd a b lack o ne. T he r ed o ne w ill s upply t he c am + 12V, a nd t he b lack
one t o a g round. I f y ou d o t his w ay, t he m ultimedia i nterface w ill s upply p ower t o a ny c amera t hat y ou c onnect. I t i s
very i mportant t o d o t his c onnection, b ecause i f y ou d on't p roceed t his w ay, c amera w on't w ork. Y ou a lso s hould
connect t he R CA v ideo o f t he c amera t o t he R CA c onnector " REAR C " a nd a lso t he " REAR" c able t o a s ignal f rom
rear l ight b ulb i f y ou w ant t o i nstall a r ear v iew c amera.
VERY I MPORTANT: I f y ou d on't c onnect t he " REAR" c able t o t he s ignal f rom t he r ear l ight, t he " CAM" c onnector
won't s upply p ower t o t he c amera, s o t he c amera w on't w ork.
