If the m achine is stored in a cold room , it
should be brought to a w arm room about

hour before use.
Cleaning
Perio dically remove thread lint and
rem nants w h ich collect under the stitch
plate.

• remove presser foo t and needle
• open the free-arm cover
• press the stitch plate dow n at the back
right co rn er
• lift and rem ove it
• clean the area w ith the brush
• replace the stitch plate

• w ip e w ith a damp cloth
Replacing the bulp

• loosen the screw

Let the bulb cool down
before replacing!

Cleaning the hook

• rem ove the bobbin case
• clean the hook using the brush provided
or a cotton sw ab . The use of any sharp
in stru m en t could dam age the hook.
• insert the bobbin case
Cleaning the machine
• w ip e w ith a dam p cloth
• if very so iled, w ip e w ith a so lutio n of
w a te r and a fe w drops of liquid soap
Change the bulb
• rem ove the left side cover
• rem ove the bulb
• insert the new bulb
• replace cover and tighten
screw

Lubricating
• squeeze 2 -3 'drops of oil
into the hook race
• run the m achine fo r a
short tim e w ith o u t
thread to prevent oil
soiling your w o rk
