    If you don't see a light, your Kindle is not charging. For Fire tablets, the battery percentage is displayed next to the battery icon at the top of the Home screen. If you don't see this, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Settings, and then tap Device Options.

Your Fire tablet can store books, apps, games, music, videos, and more, which are referred to as "content" throughout our Help pages. You can access and download any purchased digital content from the Cloud tab on your device, or deliver content from Manage Your Content and Devices to your device.
