Slot and input/output terminal numbering
r Slots
This device has 16 slots for installing optional interface boards for signal input and output. From the top left, the slots are numbered Slot1,
Slot2, up to Slot16.
Note
f Slot1 and Slot2 are exclusively used by input interface boards while Slot15 and Slot16 are exclusively used by output interface boards.
The 12 slots from Slot3 to Slot14 can be used by either input or output interface boards. For details on possible installation locations, refer
to "Installing optional accessories" (x page 71).
r Input/output terminals
The input terminals are numbered in1, in2, and so on in order from the left. Similarly, the output terminals are numbered out1, out2, and so
on.
(Example 1: In the case of Interface Board for HD/SD-SDI 4input)
(Example 2: In the case of Interface Board for Digital Link 2output)

f The Control Software for Multi Window Processor shows individual input and output terminals ([Input Fixed Name]/[Output Fixed Name]) by
combining the slot number ([Slot Index]) and input/output terminal number ([Input Index]/[Output Index]).
Example 1: The [Input Fixed Name] of [in1] on the left end of the input board installed in Slot1 is [Slot1.In1].
Example 2: The [Output Fixed Name] of [out1] on the left end of the output board installed in Slot15 is [Slot15.Out1].
