Allow the appliance to run for a few hours before placing food in it. This will ensure that the temperature is sufficiently low.

    Natural air circulation gives rise to different temperature zones inside the refrigerator section. Cold, heavy air sinks to the lowest section of the appliance. Make use of the different zones when placing food in the appliance. The warmest area is in the top section of the door.

It should not be installed where it is exposed to direct sunlight or directly adjacent to a heat-producing appliance such as an oven or a radiator.
