Natural air circulation gives rise to different temperature zones inside the refrigerator section. Cold, heavy air sinks to the lowest section of the appliance. Appliances without side wall heating must not be installed "side-by-side" next to another refrigerator or freezer. It should not be installed where it is exposed to direct sunlight or directly adjacent to a heat-producing appliance such as an oven or a radiator.
