Getting to Know Your Silverado/Sierra Hybrid

The APO system will continue to operate
in the continuous mode until:
• The APO button is pressed.
• Engine coolant temperature becomes
too hot.
• The fuel level becomes low.
(See Low Fuel Level.)
• An overload or ground fault condition
is detected and not reset within five
minutes.
• Vehicle security is violated.
• Engine oil pressure becomes too low.
• The ignition is moved out of Lock.
• The hybrid power system becomes
too hot.

Overload or Ground Fault
Condition
If the APO system stops supplying 120-
volt AC power unexpectedly and the
APO button indicator light starts flash-
ing, the system has detected an over-
load or ground fault condition.
Resetting
the system
in normal
mode
Press the
APO button
to reset the
system. The indicator light next to the
button will illuminate when the system is
supplying 120-volt AC power to the
outlets.
Resetting the system in continuous
mode
Press the APO button to reset the sys-
tem. If the engine has shut down, follow
the instructions for activating the contin-
uous mode.

Low Fuel Level

If the fuel level becomes low while oper-
ating the APO system in the continuous
mode, FUEL LEVEL LOW will be dis-
played on the Driver Information Center
and the horn will sound intermittently
for five seconds every minute, for five
minutes.
The engine and APO system will shut
down if the vehicle is left unattended for
the full five-minute warning unless the
APO button is pressed.
